
Biography
From when she remembers she’s constantly on the move, monkey child, luckily grown up surrounded by the nature. Her never stoping soul started to have more clear shape after her encounter with contemporary dance, from that time she participates in various educational platforms and performances related to the dance. After an introduction to the contact improvisation method, she realized that that’s the path she will follow for a longer period, it helped her in discovering more about herself and her surroundings. Recognizes this practice as a tool for her personal and professional growth, as a performer, choreographer, and pedagogue.
On her path of learning, she meet and studied with many teachers, but no less important, her dance is also influenced by all of the dances that happen on that path.
She’s working as a teacher to spread interest and further expand of fragile CI community in Croatia. Inviting teachers and organizing events related to the practice all over the country. With Nina from Belgrade she’s organizing Contact camp Croatia. Together with the colleague’s dancers from the region of ex Yugoslavia build and discover strategies how to strengthen their communities.
Constantly looking for ways how to transfer what she experiences in the dances to everyday life, playfulness, awareness, acceptance, respect, and the list could go on and on.
