Reunion – CI Jam gathering

19th – 23th July 2026

Kirstie Simson (UK), Ray Chung (US), K.J. Holmes (US), Andrew Harwood (CA), Eszter Gál (HU) and Eva Karczag (online) (HU) will be with us during the Gathering.

Here we will receive the gifts of all those teachers who have been working with Steve. We will celebrate this gathering in jamming, being core practice of Contact Improvisation. Every jam will be facilitated by one of the teachers and we will have round tables, videos and talks about Contact Improvisation and personal experiences with Steve. 

We offer parents and their children to join the second module. We will offer children programs to explore the venue, to be together and play. Our experience is that they can gladly and smoothly join the jam spaces afterwards together with the adults.

Dorka Timár and her colleagues will take care of them.

There will be time to dance altogether in evening jams and 8 hours Silent jam, time to listen to their personal stories with Steve, to see dance movies and performances.

This year the music will be provided by Ádám Darázs (HU) and Attila Gyárfás (HU).

We will also have time for resting and regenerating. SAUNA will work every evenings. There will be space for RESTING and BODY WORKS. And there is forest and endless landscapes to escape and find your space if needed.
