

Biography
Eszter Gál is a dancer, teacher, MSME/T (Master Somatic Movement Educator, Therapist) and researcher with a career spanning several decades. She is a certified teacher of the Skinner Releasing Technique at both introductory and advanced levels and has taught a variety of practices, including somatic work, contact improvisation, composition, and improvisation, for over 30 years. Throughout her career, her primary interests have focused on somatic movement research, exploring improvised performance, and promoting community work in dance education. As part of her doctoral studies, she has conducted extensive research on the heritage and influence of contact improvisation in Hungary, making significant contributions to the understanding and ongoing development of this field.
