Luca Kancsó was born in the south of Hungary in 1996. She began her physical education with athletics. From 2010-2015 she enrolled to Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy and gained Bachelor degree. she continued her education in the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD). Subsequently, she was a member of Bodhi Project dance company (2017-2018).
She is currently creating and performing as a freelancer in different productions in Hungary and abroad as well. During her professional career, she had the opportunity to work with renowned choreographers: Jan Lauwers, Katja Büchtemann, Cecilia Bengolea, Eszter Gál among others. She is an active member and collaborator of the AHA collective since 2021.
Besides performing she teaches and giving workshop at Paris Camping- Plateformechorégraphique international Centre national de la danse, at Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD), and the Budapest Contemporary Dance Academy (BKTF).
Other movement cultures and practices influenced her as a dancer as well, such as Martial Arts (BJJ), Climbing, Parkour, and Yoga.
