In this workshop we will lead a journey of deep awareness exploration intertwined with a playful creative playground format. We begin with the ‘self,’ then expand into the ‘collective,’ and ultimately broaden the space to connect with the ‘world’.
We invite you to explore the common space by starting with somatic self-exploration and observation of the present moment. The observer is an individual structure called the ‘Self’, who after deep tuning, constant analysis, and redefinition of that self realises
wider structures like the collective and the world. The somatic experience can be enriched by colorful, scenic imaginations, thoughts and sensations.
We discover various layers of our attention from inside to the outside. After grounding, we let our exploration gradually expand through the interconnectivity of the center of the body, its periphery, the proximal space, one and more partners, the group, the large, distant and imaginary spaces.
By experimenting with the performative, creative potentials of the actual collective situation we will be in a constant dialogue, altering or integrating various focus points. Thereby we navigate between the possibilities of compositional choices.
● How do we expand our awareness to complex group dynamics while remaining
grounded?
● How can performative games, playfulness and the idea of composition enrich our
journey together?
● How can music, intuition, imagination and intellectual reflection support us in the
discovery?
We offer a safe playground for collective composition, where the practice of contact
improvisation is happening in a dynamic flow and undiscovered creativity.
Ground. Connect. Flow. Multiple choices are playing a fluid dance
